Dr. Gilda Bloom was just (January 2015) appointed by the National Education Association (NEA) President as a delegate to the World Congress (Education International) in Ottawa, Canada, to be held in July 2015. Only 50 delegates from across the nation are appointed to the World Congress.

Under the iTEAMS / CDE MSP grant, Dr. Stephanie Sisk-Hilton and Dr. Larry Horvath are doing NGSS Professional Development with fifty-eight Marin County upper elementary/middle school teachers during the week of January 18-23 2015, in collaboration with the CSME, Exploratorium and San Rafael City Schools.
Drs. Judy Kysh and Maika Watanabe facilitated professional development for SFUSD middle school teachers on Common Core math in heterogeneous classrooms at SF State the week prior to classes beginning at SF State (1/26/2015). This was the second of three two-day sessions during the academic year.
